On Pack it Forward Monday night\, we’ll team up to build food boxes from the River Bend Food Bank delivery\, making sure each box is packed with care and ready for distribution. \nVolunteers will help:✅ Pack food items into boxes from the pallets of donated goods✅ Stage boxes for smooth distribution flow on Tuesday✅ Set up the facility and parking lot for the big day✅ Knock out any trash and cleanup needs so we’re ready to roll \nNo heavy skills needed — just a willing attitude\, good shoes\, and a bunch of energy! We’ll work together\, laugh together\, and know that every box packed is a gift of hope for a neighbor in need. \nIf you would like to volunteer\, let us know you’re coming by RSVPing below — we can’t wait to serve alongside you!

DESCRIPTION:Join us for Pantry Pickup Day — part of the Muscatine Mobile Food Pantry\, hosted by Muscatine Church of Christ in partnership with River Bend Food Bank and local volunteers.  Our goal is to make sure everyone who needs food can get it safely\, fairly\, and with as little stress as possible—for both guests and volunteers. To do that\, we use two coordinated systems each month: \nRSVP Early to Save Time\nAbout 10–14 days before the pantry distribution\, when we know how many families we will be able to serve\, we open RSVPs (reservations). Here’s what you need to know: \n*If you register online and receive a confirmation email with your QR code\, you’re already checked in. \n*You do not need to stop at the Palms Theater on pantry day. \n*Please enter from the north side by taking Tipton → Bayfield → Mulberry Avenue to help reduce congestion on the bypass. \nFirst-Come\, First-Served Boxes Always Available with Check-In at the Palms Theater\n*Each event includes a set number of drive-up boxes available without RSVPing online. \n*These are distributed first come\, first served starting at 1:30 PM. \n*If you weren’t able to RSVP online\, you can still receive food by signing in at the Palms Theater parking lot. \n*Volunteers will get you checked in and then release you to the church to pick up your box. \nWhy We Do It This Way\nWe balance limited resources with community access by: \n*Giving families who RSVP peace of mind that a box is waiting for them. \n*Making sure those without internet access or who register late still have a way to receive food. \n*Managing traffic\, wait times\, and volunteer workload so the experience stays safe and efficient for everyone. \nHave a question? DESCRIPTION:Join us for Pantry Pickup Day — part of the Muscatine Mobile Food Pantry\, hosted by Muscatine Church of Christ in partnership with River Bend Food Bank and local volunteers. \nOur goal is to make sure everyone who needs food can get it safely\, fairly\, and with as little stress as possible—for both guests and volunteers. To do that\, we use two coordinated systems each month: \nRSVP Early to Save Time\nAbout 10–14 days before the pantry distribution\, when we know how many families we will be able to serve\, we open RSVPs (reservations). Here’s what you need to know: \n\n\n\nIf you register online and receive a confirmation email with your QR code\, you’re already checked in.\n\n\nYou do not need to stop at the Palms Theater on pantry day.\nPlease enter from the north side by taking Tipton → Bayfield → Mulberry Avenue to help reduce congestion on the bypass.\n\nFirst-Come\, First-Served Boxes Always Available with Check-In at the Palms Theater\n\nEach event includes a set number of drive-up boxes available without RSVPing online.\nThese are distributed first come\, first served starting at 1:30 PM.\nIf you weren’t able to RSVP online\, you can still receive food by signing in at the Palms Theater parking lot.\nVolunteers will get you checked in and then release you to the church to pick up your box.\n\nWhy We Do It This Way\nWe balance limited resources with community access by: \n\nGiving families who RSVP peace of mind that a box is waiting for them.\nMaking sure those without internet access or who register late still have a way to receive food.\nManaging traffic\, wait times\, and volunteer workload so the experience stays safe and efficient for everyone.\n\nHave a question? In September we served over 500 households\, and this month we’re making things even smoother and safer for everyone. \nWhat’s New This Month:\n\nRegistration starts at the Palms Theatre parking lot:  Thanks to our new partnership with the Palms Theater\, in order to keep people safe and keep moving quickly\, we will have you go to the Palms Theatre first to register and sign-in.  As space becomes available at Muscatine Church of Christ\, volunteers will send you over.  Our goal is to prevent the backup on to Mulberry Av.\n\nReserve Your Box Online: Guarantee your food box ahead of time and choose a 30-minute pickup slot between 1:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. \n\n\nEvening Pickup Available: Perfect for working families and single parents who can’t make it during the day. \n\n\nFaster\, Safer Experience: Pre-registered guests will use a separate line for quicker service\, helping us keep Mulberry Avenue clear and safe. \n\n\nStill Available:\n\n\nFirst-Come\, First-Served Boxes: Starting at 1:30 p.m.\, for those unable to register online. \n\n\nWaiting List: If boxes run out\, you can sign up to be notified if an unclaimed box becomes available. \n\n\nWant to make a difference? On Pack it Forward Monday night\, we’ll team up to build food boxes from the River Bend Food Bank delivery\, making sure each box is packed with care and ready for distribution. \nVolunteers will help:✅ Pack food items into boxes from the pallets of donated goods✅ Stage boxes for smooth distribution flow on Tuesday✅ Set up the facility and parking lot for the big day✅ Knock out any trash and cleanup needs so we’re ready to roll \nNo heavy skills needed — just a willing attitude\, good shoes\, and a bunch of energy!
